Salt Lake Comedy Film Festival

Tonight was the screening of the 1st ever Salt Lake Comedy Film Festival, which kicked off this year’s comedy festival.  It was such a blast.  The comedy shorts we screened were all fantastic, funny flicks, and the audience favorite award was very close.  Here’s a run down of your 2012 winners:

• Best Actor: Josh Cameron in “Love Sick”
• Best Actress: Elizabeth Hales in “Mother to Mother”
• Audience Favorite: “The Devil’s Love”
• Judges’ Pick: “Party Pooper”

We’d like to give a special shout out to our awesome judges: Jimmy Martin, Mike Thiriot, and Jeff Vice.  Additionally, we’d like to thank Yelp for being such a great sponsor of our preshow reception and the Salt Lake Film Society for hosting us at the Broadway Centre Cinemas.  It was great to meet you all and enjoy some funny short films. We ‘ppreciate ya!
